Hello again, blogger...let me reintroduce myself

Once upon a time, I kept a knitting blog. Then I decided to go back to school---to get a teaching certification and then a job teaching high school physics.  I am a former engineer who now spends more time grading lab reports than knitting.

So, if you've stumbled upon this space, let me introduce myself.  My name is Leigh, and though I am not longer a youngster, I am an early-career teacher.   I'm currently completing my second year teaching "regular" Physics 1 (high school level) and AP Physics 1 (algebra-based college level) and will most like teach the same next year, except.... I've joined a professional cohort that will be teaching the AP Physics 1 curricula entirely using PBL (project-based learning).

I'm planning to use this space to post so reflections on my progress and you're welcome to chime in with helpful comments.
